Weather and news packages for JAC Media's DOOH network — modular builds keyed to screen formats, so the same pipeline plugs into different hardware and layouts.

The trading side of things — a small Astro landing page on Cloudflare Workers for sole trader work and consultancy referrals.

A Rails 8 exploration project — news discovery and feed pipelines used to bootstrap new work fast, and to keep my hand in the whole stack.
Model ops lab
Running local LLMs (Gemma, Qwen, IQuest) on my own hardware and benchmarking them for Rails dev-agent work — the retrieval layer, the stopping rule, and the cloud-first pivot that the overnight test forced. Slower than the cloud, a lot more interesting.
exo cluster post-mortem
Nine days, three Macs, zero files — a distributed inference cluster that never got hot and never finished a job. The 1.42-token-per-second ceiling, the 52,220 clock-skew rejections, and the pivot to a software factory. The negative half of the local-AI evidence.
